Marianna Stránská made her mark in the opera world, particularly alongside the director Arnaud Bernard, with whom for the first time she created the costumes for the production of Tosca (2017) for National Theatre in Prague, and she also participated in his productions of Sicilian Vespers (2017), The Girl from the West (2019) and Cavaleria Rustice (2020) for the St. Petersburg Mariinsky Theatre. They were supposed to realize Andrea Chenier (2022) but due to the war, the project was canceled. They have collaborated also on an opera piece Simon Boccanegra (2018) for the Lausanne Opera and Opera House in Bari. .
